My good golly goshness, I have the one for the DS and I haven't played it in just about forever. xD But I remember it quite fondly. I had a town called Florida (terribly original, no?) and I played it so much that I eventually acquired millions of Bells I didn't know what to do with. Razz

The golden fishing rod.....hm. Don't you need to catch every single type of fish? And then you bury your rod and.....wait, that was for the golden shovel, nevermind. xD

I loved the original for the GCN, and played it with my family quite a bit. Then I got the one for DS and it was SO much better that I, too, played it to a point where I had so much money I didn't know what to do with it all. I haven't been able to get into the Wii one though. I got it for Christmas and have played it maybe twice. I probably don't know what I'm missing but I have to get going in it first, I guess.

I like the feel to the game the best...your own house and location and little animal's who either love you..or have a grudge agianst you...it just makes me feel like I have control of my own little place...which is untrue due to the mayor's "long walks". XD

I named my town Danville once. But I thought it was silly and changed it. One time my friend's brother made his hair green and my friend said "Your hair looks like Ferb's hair!"

Man, I haven't played animal crossing in a long time. Used to be quite the addict though.

I recently came across a game very similar to animal crossing except you got to date the animals and be a magician. So I've been playing that instead. I feel guilty about it... Tom Nook's probably disappointed in me.

I play Animal Crossing all the time, but sadly, I don't have anybody on my friend roster. Or, whatever that is. I don't even have a friend code. How do I get mine? Do I have to add someone first? If so, I'd be happy to go to someone else's town. Smile

While players do feel it's insulting to have to do so, you can always check the instruction manual for info on how to do that.

You know, I would, but sadly mine didn't come with an instruction manual. Either my game has been used before, or the manufacturing company people were too lazy to put one in.

The raccoon that you work for when you first go to your town. He owns the furniture and supplies shop. Nook's Cranny, Nook Way, Nookington, maybe something else. Not sure. You pay him your house mortgage.

Seriously, the only reason I still hang onto that game is to watch Mr. Reseti (speliing???) yell at me.

    Epic masterpiece.Smile

Really? I just play Brawl when I want him to yell at me now.

    Pretty sure it's Resetti.

I hate it when Resetti yells at me. I just turn the channel to Disney or something and keep pressing the button until it's over. I got on his nerves so much that he threatened to shut down my game. Then the screen went black for a little while and then he came back and said "Ha ha, got you." Idiot!

But the good news is that I payed off all of my house mortgage that is used to make my house bigger! Now I have 4 rooms total: living room, bedroom, basement, and attic. And yet Tom Nook wants more money. Well, I'm not paying him!

If my house isn't gonna get any bigger, why should I pay him mortgage? There's no time limit. Of course I'll still be buying from him.

My friend thinks that once your house is done getting bigger and you still pay your next mortgage, you might get something. I'm not gonna try unless I know it's real.

And it would've been nice to know that you pay 200k then 400k for a fountain instead of just 500k before I payed it and just got a goddamn bridge! Now the people who told me that crap gotta pay me back!
