    She's The Mayor

Post by Roy42 on Sun Jun 20, 2010 10:22 am

In times like these, we're nothing without our metaphors. Like how Candace winning a contest to be Danville's mayor for a day by writing a paper about busting her brothers that was taken entirely the wrong way; and then enforcing crazy laws on the tri-state is a metaphor for, erm…

Well, that one might not be a metaphor, but Phineas and Ferb deciding to not use any modern tools to build an old fashioned town in the backyard, just like Danville was created; that's totally a metaphor for…stuff. Y'know, deep, thought-provoking stuff.

Lastly, there's Doofenshmirtz, whose decision to use his latest Inator — your typical machine that has a slight chance of breaking space-time — to speed up his and Roger's golf game so that he doesn't have to actually play the game, while Perry caddies, is a metaph…

Umm, actually, that last one's just weird.

Wow!! Just when I thought that Candace would finally succeed in actually busting her brothers in real life, the passage of time suddenly goes into reverse, causing Candace's Mayoral job never to have happened. You would've made a great mayor for Danville, Candace!
