Hmm... I'm trying to think of something that inspires me enough to make me start writing fanfiction again...

I did have that one idea for a FerbxVanessa story... but I dunno, it doesn't sound that fun to write at the moment...

So, does anybody have a challenge? Something crazy or absurd? Some sort of weird pairing or odd situation or interesting circumstance or strange conflict that I should throw our dear PaF characters into? You know, something that would never actually be in an episode (I don't want to have to try to come close to the skill of the actual amazing thing Razz).

Hehe, maybe I'll write that for kicks, and include a part in which Ferb dresses in a bikini top, so that Neerav can have more weird feelings. Razz

And as interesting as a Finding Nemo and Sopranos crossover using body switching as a plot device would be... well....

I still need to write Chapter 4 of my story, "The Truth About Bucky", but will be out of the country for three weeks starting Wednesday. I guess I can write a draft while I am out and publish the story the following week.

Don't worry, I'm not gonna be writing any crossovers-- too... I dunno, strange for my liking.

Anybody have any suggestions besides gender fleep? Very Happy

None that I'm sharing, also, didn't I say already back on TV.com that I was patenting that idea?

I do like that the author "livingstatue" not only requests my criticisms on his chapters of his story, but in his latest reply, after Grammar Nazi found no less than 22 errors, he still said "Thank you oh great and wise grammar nazi" now that's someone I'll want to be friends with, just.

For anyone wondering the status of my latest fanfic/full story "Chaos (working title)", I've currently finished 2 scenes of the story, considering that was only 1 week's worth of work, I reckon I'm making good progress on it so far.

For those who don't understand, a scene (in StoryMill) is the intended basic building blocks of the story, scenes can be broken up by time, location, or viewpoint, the scenes are then placed into chapters to put the story together.

So, by "2 scenes" finished, I've got about 1800 words or so done.

Wrote something new for FF.net. Should be showing up by now.

Just a warning, it's quite a bit different from what I usually write.

Oh, it was quite different, indeed. Thanks for the opportunity to unwind though, I needed something like that in my current stress period, it definitely helped for a good hour or so, which is fairly impressive.

Wow! A lot of new fanfics came up while I was out for three weeks, including ones by Settled Debt and by authors that I have not seen before. I better get cracking on reading them, though just by the title, I admit, some of them do not look at all interesting. Oh well.

Better get working on Chapter 4 of my story now that I am back.

Actually, no, you shouldn't get cracking on reading them, they aren't worth it and I'm pretty sure one or two of them actually cause your IQ points to fizzle away.

Anyway, I republished the long overdue, but finally completed, Chapter 8 of "Because It's Fun" on FanFiction.net, which I'm sure people who have been following the story are going to be screaming at me for not continuing past the point at which I left it, heheh. Read and Review and all that.

    Will check it out.......

I admit, I have been too lazy to get Chapter 4 of my story up.......yes, the one about the boy and his dog, but I already forsaw this chapter as not being an easy one to write because I have to decide how I am going to advance the plot such that I can complete the story. Will work on it in the days to come.

Is it because of Summer or something, because I've yet to receive any reviews for the newest chapter of "Because It's Fun" or "An Unspoken Bond". Well, not true, I got a few reviews for AUB, but the 4 I got were 3 liners.

    Oh, this is classic.

I dunno if any of you (besides Tiggertine) have read the Phineas and Ferb Diaper Punishment or whatever story on FF.net? Well, yeah, I made the grave mistake of reading it and was so deeply disgusted I left a review. It wasn't exactly that scathing of a review-- nothing at all compared to one of Roy's.

Well, the author apparently didn't take kindly to it. This is the review reply I got back.

"Well if you don't like it don't read it also you are a jerk so if you don't
like stories like this then just don't read anything I write.Plus there are a
lot of people that have read this story and liked it.So next time you fell
like reading or reviewing one of my stories just don' you jerk.Oh and ps your
stories,in my opinion, are bland and slow."

...Nice, eh? Remember everybody, only jerks leave bad reviews! Very Happy And also, really, there are only two other reviews, one person liked it, the other gave it an F-, which just makes this so much funnier.

I think I'll reply to this reply and see what happens, hehehe.

I've definitely read it, but I'm at no point going to be reviewing the story, for the main reason that if I review a continuing story, I keep reviewing to the end, something I don't want to do for this entire "story".

I suppose writing a story that doesn't contain school-aged children being spanked and then forced to wear diapers counts as "bland and slow", then.

The last line of chapter 4 when they described Phineas pooping in his diaper was vomit-worthy, and then he was forced to have dinner and sleep in a wet diaper? Yuck! Poor Phineas.......the story made me feel sorry for Phineas (and Ferb), and at the same time, mad at Candace for not only taking justice in her own hands, but going to far in the process. I am not really planning to read the rest of the story, unless it involves (or will involve) Candace getting her just deserts for what she did to Phineas and Ferb!

Really, that story made me feel more emotion towards the author than it did towards the characters. (Not exactly a sign of literary success, especially when said emotion is disgust and anger.) Because really, the characters were so out-of-character there, they weren't going through anything. It wasn't even them. >8P

Besides, it makes no sense. Phineas and Ferb are quite old enough that they could easily just go get changed back into their normal clothes themselves. Honestly. >:c

    Ah well. Sturgeon's Law.
