Really, that story made me feel more emotion towards the author than it did towards the characters. (Not exactly a sign of literary success, especially when said emotion is disgust and anger.) Because really, the characters were so out-of-character there, they weren't going through anything. It wasn't even them. >8P

Besides, it makes no sense. Phineas and Ferb are quite old enough that they could easily just go get changed back into their normal clothes themselves. Honestly. >:c

I fully agree with the emotions, which is what I felt when I read the story. I mean, seriously, this is a good story? Sheesh!

For all those who are interested in reading reviews, I've finally put all other voices to silence with my review of "The diaper punishment of Phineas and Ferb" officially passing judgement on the terrible story.

I think as far as "Nothing but Bile" reviews of mine go, it's one of my best, I hope people will read it, since it's basically the absolute culmination of what everyone else thinks about the story, with about 3 times the hatred and vocabulary.

Or is 's' the new in-vogue ultimate insult these days?

Apart from it cutting off my signing off, I do actually like that ending, really adds the uncertainty value, like you wish you knew what I intended to say, but you know it must be so insulting that it was cut, or something like that.

I was talking to Roy online in the chat room, and we were discssing, and, aside from the "Diaper" story, there are others who's plot I am just perplexed about. For, example, "An Uncommon Match", the plot is just going too darn fast for me to understand "WHY" Ferb is going out with this girl before she dumps him because she is pregnant. I am starting to worry that the quality of stories written on FF.net are starting to go down. We need to do better to keep the quality of stories up.

To keep the trend of "Post author responses here so we can all laugh at them", here's the reply Ferbs-Diary gave me for my review of "An Uncommon Match"

Ferbs-Diary wrote:Wow. I finally saw the light! My cup overfloweth. This should be the most
giddiest day of my sad, boring life when some drunk bubba (who, by the way,
probably lives with his mother and types at a computer all day to pass time!)
finally reviews my story which I didn't do, mind you, exclusively write just
for the enjoyment of you! I saw your FanFictions. Some were one of the best
Fics I have ever seen, but the rest of the ten miserable, pitiful paragraphs
you wrote and then cluttered up the FanFiction archive with your angry rant.
Looks like somebody needs a diary, and for your information,
http://www.Fanfiction.net isn't a diary. Mummy-babies should just go grab some
Barbie diary and jot their feelings. There is one exeption. Maybe you are just
trying to tell me to write better in the future (by the way, I will admit this
isn't one of my best stories!) to write with half a brain. Maybe you don't
know that I am only ten years old and I'm from England and I have a cheap
lowner computer that was given to me by a school in Ferbruary. Or you didn't
know that I never even saw a computer since February when I finally got one,
and before that I have only seen them in libraries. Or that I am typing in a
dim little hot stuffy room with no fan and two Autistic brothers screaming and
breaking things while I manage to type a simple story, then only to get sour
reviews from the mysteroius 'Roy' if thats even your real name.

Let not your heart (or your brain, too if you have one) be troubled,

    Ferb's Diary
P.S. I am not pouting a rude PM just because I want to. I want you to know
the reasons why my stories aren't Leo Tolstoy.

Actually, I've got to admit, that guy's reply was pretty good as far as far as review replies from fanfiction writers go. He actually used sarcasm and insults appropriately, used proper spelling and grammar, and if he seriously is ten and typing on a crappy computer with brothers screaming in the background, I'm fairly impressed.

Insulting a person directly in a review reply though... eh, makes you just sound whiny and like you couldn't think of a better excuse. He would've done better without that.

Oh yeah, it was marginally impressive, which is about as good as a review reply gets to me, but it's let down when just about all of the statements he made are either false or null and void in my judgement.

I really wish I could do P&F fanfiction, because I really enjoy writing fanfiction, and have pretty much written a story (in my head at least - most of them have such a basic plot they're not worth writing on paper) for every fandom I've ever been involved in. But for some reason P&F plots elude me - probably because of the whole formula thing, I believe I would have a hard time sticking to it, and my stories always tend to try to stay within the bounds of the show timewise and such. If you ever run into RobotMonkeys4Ever on ff.net, that'd be me - though I doubt you ever would, I haven't done much since I wrote the series fanale for SRMTHG a year ago.

Well, after several months of neglecting it, I've finally finished my latest screenplay for Phineas and Ferb, "Hidden Surprises"

I suggest you take a look at it yourself, but it's basically about Phineas and Ferb playing hide and seek…their way.

I am yet to formally review the story that Roy recently came out with, but all I can say is that I would definitely read it. There are a couple of others that are not bad, but still, for the most part, I don't see many good fanfiction stories, especially the ones that have come out in the past couple of weeks. Some of the "oneshots" are not that great.......there is one out there, but I am not a big fan of "oneshots" unless it is really interesting plot-wise.

So I've found a program that can convert any PDF file into a "booklet", basically it formats it so that if you print it out and fold the pages correctly, it will look like a booklet, or book.

Does anyone else think I should print one of my fanfictions and make it a book, not like anyone else would be able to read it, since no one else I know locally likes the show, but it'd still be cool, don't you think? Anyone? Times Change, signed officially by Roy?

No, you need to say "I got Roy42 to sign it!" then they'll know who you mean, hopefully. Still, I have no idea. I'd have to reformat the entire story so that it would have many more paragraphs, after all, it'd be on a much smaller page size than a browser window, so it would need to be broken up a lot more.

Ok, I have to get this off of my chest. Every day, I look on fanfiction for both new fanfictions, as well as updates to the ones in progress, and I can tell you know that I am VERY unhappy with the quality of what is being published in terms of "legitimate" fanfiction.

For the last three months or so, I have been seeing stories that are not only NOT worth reading, but not even worth commenting on. (in terms of writing a review). It just disgusts me that people write stories who's plots are just garbage and the character development is almost nonexistent.

Seriously, something needs to be done to either improve the quality of stories or to get rid of them entirely.
