    FanArt

Post by Roy42 on Sun Mar 08, 2009 1:38 am

    First topic message reminder :

Absolutely anyone can draw. It doesn't necessarily mean that you'll be good, but at least on the internet you can choose whether or not to even get feedback on your fanart. Of course there's only one place where absolutely any stupid drawings of Phineas and Ferb are accepted…

deviantART search results: Phineas and Ferb

Drawn something you think is great?

Found a stupid drawing elsewhere on the internet?

Want to supply a third question related to fanart instead of this question?

Here's where to answer and discuss those questions!

Well, tonight I decided to do a drawing for both Phineas and Ferb. Phineas took about 15 minutes, Ferb took about half an hour.

From the episode "The Chronicles of Meap", I believe. That must have been very difficult trying to recreate the car's interior by just using a ballpoint. Excellent job with both your drawings, Fragman!

Damn, maybe I should draw Ferb in a cooler setting next time I do, might help get comments on my attempt[s] at him.

Since that picture's getting so much positive feedback, I'm redoing it in pencil. Then, I'm gonna color it in and post the results here.

UPDATE: Finished pencil redo, looks pretty much the same as before except refined a little and some errors were fixed. I started coloring, but I'm nowhere near done.

I already know you've started it, but try landscape, it would probably help with the spaceship.

My Bamboo Fun tablet finally got here today: http://fc05.deviantart.com/fs51/f/2009/281/f/d/5_Minutes_Maximum___1_by_Roy4242.png

However the Corel program that came with it has an issue with the brush drawer, preventing me from picking anything apart from the starting brush, so rather than use Painter Essentials, I used Photoshop to draw that one. If you look at my dA profile and look at the actual picture, it's the first in what I hope will be a series of drawings done in a maximum time limit of 5 minutes. Which means no correcting, no super special attention to detail, and no acceptance of people saying it's bad.

deviantART. It's more badly than the fan fic stuff...I can't live without my dA account. But my drawings aren't always so innocent. I just show you that pics on which I know you can handle it.

    or something like this:

    It's cute Phinbella stuff, I think! ^-^

They both look not bad… from a distance. However looking at either the background of the second one or both of them up close, the flaws of drawing using Paint? Well, using a mouse and computer program.

Kind of tricky to decide whether to put this in the FanFiction thread or this one, but since it is art (by only the most technical definition) I'll post it here.
